Two ways to verify a CODEX
Codex-Log allows you to confirm the existence and timestamp of a probative act recorded in its independent public ledger, without ever accessing the contents of the document itself.
Two verification options are available depending on what you have:
-
By CODEX identifier:
if you have a CODEX identifier (e.g.CDX-XXXX-XXXX), you can instantly check that it corresponds to a valid entry in the Codex-Log public registry. -
By PDF document:
if you have the original document, you can upload it here to compute its cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256) and verify that it exactly matches the one recorded at sealing time.
In both cases, no document is stored and no personal data is retained: only the cryptographic fingerprint and timestamp serve as proof of existence at a given date.
Codex-Log acts as an independent trusted third party, ensuring public, neutral and verifiable verification.

How does verification work?
- Each registered act receives a unique CODEX identifier.
- The identifier is recorded in an append-only public ledger.
- No document is stored — only its cryptographic fingerprint.
Codex-Log acts as an independent trusted third party.
